Dr. Erdal's practice concentrates on breast surgery — reduction, lift, augmentation, and reconstruction — and on facial aesthetic procedures, particularly closed-approach rhinoplasty, on which he has published extensively.

For breast reduction specifically, his approach prioritizes:

• Technique selection driven by anatomy. Not every patient needs a Wise pattern; not every patient is a candidate for vertical. The fit between technique and tissue determines outcome.
• Pedicle preservation when feasible. Where breastfeeding capability matters to the patient, superomedial and inferior pedicle techniques are favored over central or free nipple grafting.
• Realistic expectation-setting. Patients leave consultation with a clear picture of what is and isn't achievable, what the scars will look like at 12 months, and what the realistic recovery timeline is.
• Continuity of care. The surgeon who operates is the surgeon who follows the patient — at every check-up, every video call, every WhatsApp message.

Training & academic background

Medical degree from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine, Ankara. Plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery residency at Gazi University Hospital. Subsequent academic appointment in plastic surgery, with the title of Associate Professor (Doçent) earned through national academic examination — a credential awarded for documented research output, teaching, and clinical contribution.

Dr. Erdal's published research spans rhinoplasty technique, breast reconstruction outcomes, microsurgery, and craniofacial surgery. Selected publications appear in journals including Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery — Global Open, and Journal of Craniofacial Surgery.

The clinic

Consultations are held at the surgeon's clinic on Teşvikiye Caddesi in Nişantaşı/Şişli — a quiet, central location well served by transport and within walking distance of multiple international-standard hotels. Surgery itself is performed at a JCI-accredited hospital, with a one-night inpatient stay and continuous in-clinic follow-up during the first week.

The team includes a clinic coordinator, surgical nurse, anaesthetist, and post-operative care nurse. Communication in English is supported throughout the patient pathway. German support is available on request.
